Baku: A delegation from the Navigation, Hydrography and Oceanography Department of the Turkish Naval Forces visited Azerbaijan, the Ministry of Defense reported. During the meeting at the headquarters of the Azerbaijan Naval Forces, discussions centered on preparing new generation electronic navigational data, applying international standards, and exchanging experiences.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the Turkish delegation shared their expertise with the Hydrography Department of the Azerbaijan Naval Forces. They focused on gathering and processing hydrographic data, preparing S-101 Electronic Navigational Charts (ENCs), and developing digital navigation systems within the S-100 framework.

Both sides acknowledged that such meetings play a crucial role in deepening cooperation between Azerbaijan and Turkey, enhancing joint activities in hydrography, navigation, and oceanography.
