Baku: Azerbaijani and Turkish Naval Forces representatives recently convened to discuss ongoing cooperation efforts. As part of their visit to Azerbaijan, military representatives from Turkey inspected ships and training centers belonging to the Azerbaijan Naval Forces, as reported by the Ministry of Defense to APA.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the discussions covered various aspects of naval collaboration, including the protection of critical infrastructure, as well as ship repairs, maintenance, and the construction of new ships. Both sides emphasized the importance of exchanging experiences to enhance bilateral cooperation.
The visit and subsequent discussions are seen as a step forward in strengthening the partnership between the two nations’ naval forces, focusing on shared interests and mutual support in maritime security and development.
