Baku: Minister of Science and Education Emin Amrullayev met with the First Deputy Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovations of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Sardor Rajabov, the Ministry of Science and Education told APA. During the meeting, current cooperation and development prospects between the two countries in the fields of science, higher education, and innovations were discussed.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the meeting also witnessed the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding. This agreement was established between the State Agency for Science and Higher Education under the Ministry of Science and Education and the Agency for Innovative Development under the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovations of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The memorandum aims to expand cooperation in the field of science and innovation between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan.
