Hanoi: Azerbaijani Deputy Minister of Justice Togrul Huseynov recently engaged in discussions with his Vietnamese counterpart, Nguyen Thanh Tinh, focusing on strengthening legal cooperation between the two nations. The meeting was part of Huseynov’s visit to Vietnam, as reported by the Press Service of the Ministry of Justice to APA.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the dialogue highlighted the positive development of friendly and trustworthy relations between Azerbaijan and Vietnam, particularly in economic and industrial sectors. Both parties emphasized the significance of expanding collaboration in the legal domain.

The discussions included the execution of the ‘Cooperation Program for 2025-2027’ between the justice ministries of Azerbaijan and Vietnam, a program that was formalized in May of this year. The meeting served as a platform for exchanging views on best practices, organizing training and education in legal matters, and enhancing cooperative mechanisms.

Additionally, the meeting touched upon the formation of working groups and the organization of mutual visits to further solidify the partnership. Togrul Huseynov’s visit is part of the Azerbaijani delegation’s participation in the 3rd meeting of the Azerbaijan-Vietnam Intergovernmental Commission on Economic, Trade, Scientific, and Technical Cooperation in Hanoi.
