Baku: In accordance with the 2026 training plan, the Azerbaijani Army recently conducted a tactical exercise within one of its military units. The Press Service of the Ministry of Defense informed APA about the progression and objectives of the exercise.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the exercise took place at a command and control point set up in field conditions. During the exercise, the activities of the units regarding the completion of assigned tasks were examined on the map, and commanders presented reports on their decisions.

The primary goal of the exercise was to enhance the commanders' rapid decision-making skills. It also aimed at improving the interaction between headquarters and units' combat capabilities, while developing the field and practical skills of the personnel involved.
