An officer of the Azerbaijan Army, Lieutenant Colonel Aghayev Vugar Shumshad, born in 1978, died of an acute myocardial infarction, the Ministry of Defense told AZERTAC.

“The leadership of the Ministry of Defense expresses its deepest condolences to the family and relatives of the deceased serviceman, as well as wishes them patience.

May Allah rest his soul in peace!” the ministry said.
