Barda: Azerbaijani Army serviceman Rustam Ruslan oglu Hamidov, who tragically lost his life in an avalanche in Gadabay, has been laid to rest in Barda. After a solemn farewell ceremony, Hamidov was buried at the Barda city cemetery, as reported by APA’s Karabakh bureau.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the farewell ceremony held in Barda was attended by the serviceman’s relatives, law enforcement officers, and military personnel. Hamidov’s body was handed over to his family during the night preceding the ceremony. It was noted that Hamidov, who was engaged, had only 10 days remaining until the completion of his military service.

The incident in Gadabay district involved another Azerbaijani Army serviceman, soldier Ali Tariyel oglu Imanov, alongside Hamidov. Both soldiers were caught in an avalanche while returning from their duty station in foggy weather. Their bodies were subsequently recovered, bringing a tragic conclusion to the search efforts.
