Codlea: Azerbaijani athlete Togrul Shahlarli secured a bronze medal at the European Armwrestling Championship held in Codlea, Romania. The event, organized by the International Armwrestling Federation (IFA), witnessed participation from nearly 600 athletes across 30 European countries.
According to Azeri-Press news agency, Shahlarli, who is a member of Azerbaijan's national armwrestling team and serves as a sergeant with the State Fire Protection Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, showcased his skills in the 86 kg weight category. He competed in 11 matches using his left arm, ultimately earning the bronze medal for his efforts.
The championship provided a platform for athletes to compete in various weight categories, testing their arm strength in a series of intense matches. Shahlarli's achievement was recognized with a diploma and a medal established by the International Armwrestling Federation (IFA).
