ASTANA—Azerbaijani competitor Eyvaz Bakhshiyev won a silver medal in the men’s 60kg weight class at the 5th World Nomad Games held in Astana, Kazakhstan.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Bakhshiyev secured the second-place finish after a challenging final bout against Kazakhstan’s Meirzhan Bereketov. The World Nomad Games, a celebration of traditional sports, saw participants from various countries compete, with Bakhshiyev’s achievement marking a significant success for the Azerbaijani team.
