In January of this year banks in Azerbaijan obtained AZN 58,6 mln. net profit and operating profit amounted to AZN 89,4 mln., according to the calculations of APA-Economics based on the information of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan.

The net profit of the banks increased by 2,3 times while operating profits increased by 25,6% in annual comparison.
