SOFIA: Nijat Huseynov, representing the Azerbaijani national team, has clinched a silver medal at the EUBC U23 Men and Women Boxing Championships held in Sofia. This achievement contributes to Azerbaijan’s growing medal tally at the event.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the Azerbaijani team has now collected a total of three medals at the championships. In addition to Huseynov’s silver, Tural Sariyev, competing in the 48 kg category, also secured a silver medal, while Marjona Savriyeva won a bronze medal in the 50 kg category. These accomplishments highlight the skill and determination of the Azerbaijani athletes on an international stage.
