Azerbaijani Businessman Tahir Gozel Meets with President Ruto in Nairobi

Nairobi: Azerbaijani businessman Tahir Gozel held a working meeting with President William Ruto during his visit to Kenya. The discussions focused on enhancing economic cooperation between Azerbaijan and Kenya, with an emphasis on expanding trade relations and introducing new services.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, during the meeting on June 7, Gozel highlighted the potential contributions Azerbaijan could make to Kenya’s economic landscape. He mentioned the readiness of ‘ASAN Service,’ ‘Azercosmos,’ and his own company, ‘Proxima Tech Solutions,’ to bring new services to Kenya. These initiatives aim to bolster the partnership between the two nations.

Gozel expressed a keen interest in supporting investment projects designed to boost the export potential of products from small businesses in Kenya. President Ruto, in turn, expressed his gratitude for Gozel’s visit and reiterated Kenya’s openness to fostering new cooperative efforts with Azerbaijan.
