The remarkable match saw the Azerbaijani team, Odlar Yurdu, overcome one of the tournament favorites, WR Chess, with a final score of 3.5-2.5.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the WR Chess team was composed of renowned grandmasters including Magnus Carlsen, Fabiano Caruana, Wesley So, and Maxime Vachier-Lagrave. Despite the formidable lineup, Suleymanli's performance was instrumental in securing the victory for his team.

The Odlar Yurdu team's win against such a strong opponent marked a significant achievement. With this victory, they concluded the tournament in eighth place, earning 15 points.
