Azerbaijani Defense Minister and British Ambassador Discuss Military Cooperation

Baku: Azerbaijani Minister of Defense, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov, recently engaged in a meeting with Fergus Auld, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to Azerbaijan. During this meeting, which took place on October 6, the focus was on enhancing the bilateral relations between the two nations, particularly in military sectors, as reported by the Ministry of Defense to AZERTAC.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov highlighted the significance of the collaboration between Azerbaijan and the United Kingdom in various sectors, notably emphasizing military ties. He asserted that such cooperation plays a vital role in advancing the capabilities of the armed forces in both countries.

Ambassador Fergus Auld expressed his contentment with the current state of cooperation and stressed the importance of these meetings in promoting the further development of bilateral relations.
