Baku: Colonel General Zakir Hasanov, Minister of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan, has extended his condolences to Abdul Hamid Dbeibeh, Prime Minister and Minister of Defense of Libya, following a tragic aviation incident.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense reported Hasanov's heartfelt message sent to the Libyan leadership. In his letter, Hasanov expressed his sorrow over the tragic news of the passing of Army General Mohammed Ali Ahmed Al-Haddad, Chief of Staff of the Libyan State Armed Forces, along with other personnel. The casualties resulted from the crash of a Dassault Falcon 50-type jet, which was returning from an official visit to the Republic of Trkiye.
In his message, Hasanov conveyed his prayers for the repose of the souls of the deceased and offered his deepest condolences to their families. He concluded his letter by wishing for eternal peace for those who lost their lives in the unfortunate incident.
