BISHKEK: The official visit of Azerbaijan’s Minister of Defense, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov, to Kyrgyzstan is currently underway. During this visit, he has engaged in activities promoting bilateral ties, including a significant commemorative event.

According to Trend News Agency, Colonel General Hasanov, alongside Kyrgyzstan’s Minister of Defense, Lieutenant General Baktybek Bekbolotov, visited the Ata-Beyit National Historical and Memorial Complex in Bishkek. The two defense ministers laid a wreath at a monument dedicated to the victims of the tragic events of 1916, demonstrating respect and solemn remembrance.

This visit underscores the ongoing cooperation between Azerbaijan and Kyrgyzstan and reflects an effort to honor shared historical experiences.
