Baku:A memorandum focused on preventing tuberculosis and other upper respiratory tract diseases among Azerbaijan Army personnel has been signed between the Medical Department of the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense and the 'Towards a TB-Free Future' Public Union.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the memorandum outlines key cooperation areas, which include raising awareness about tuberculosis and other respiratory diseases among military personnel. This initiative emphasizes understanding the main characteristics, symptoms, transmission routes, and preventive measures related to these diseases.
The agreement aims to enhance collaboration between governmental bodies and civil society in the domains of health protection and disease prevention.
