St. petersburg: Azerbaijani delegation participates in St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, APA's Russia bureau reports. Azerbaijan is represented at the forum by a delegation led by First Deputy Minister of Economy Elnur Aliyev.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the forum facilitated business meetings between Elnur Aliyev and key officials, including Acting Head of the Republic of Dagestan Fyodor Shukin and Chairman of the Government of the Republic of Dagestan Magomed Ramazanov. Discussions centered on enhancing trade, economic, and investment cooperation between Azerbaijan and Dagestan. Agreements focusing on agricultural cooperation were established between companies from both regions.

Additionally, the Azerbaijani delegation engaged in a business meeting with Head of the Republic of Karelia Artur Parfenchikov. The dialogue aimed to advance bilateral trade and investment relations. A roadmap outlining the development of trade and economic cooperation between Azerbaijan and Karelia is currently under review.
