Azerbaijani Delegation Engages in Key Meetings in Iran

Baku:An Azerbaijani delegation led by Deputy Prime Minister Shahin Mustafayev held significant meetings with Iranian officials during a visit to the Islamic Republic of Iran.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the discussions highlighted the positive impact of the strong relations between the countries' leaders on the advancement of bilateral ties and the acceleration of joint projects.

The delegation met with Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, Speaker of the Islamic Consultative Assembly, emphasizing the essential role of parliaments in executing joint initiatives and enhancing bilateral relations.

Additionally, the Azerbaijan delegation engaged in talks with Mohsen Rezaei, Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council, addressing contemporary issues on the bilateral agenda.

Productive discussions also took place with Iran's Oil Minister Mohsen Paknejad and Minister of Energy Abbas Aliabadi, focusing on the significance of economic projects and the potential for further collaboration between the two nations.
