The delegation led by Deputy Minister of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan Saadat Yusifova actively participates in the 46th session of the UNESCO World Heritage Committee held in New Delhi, the capital of India, the ministry told APA.

Reported that within the session, on July 24, S. Yusifova spoke at the opening of the parallel event called “The Heritage of the Islamic World” organized by ICESCO.

Within the framework of the 46th session, the delegation of our country held a number of bilateral meetings. In the meetings held with the Deputy Director General of UNESCO for Cultural Affairs, Executive Director of the African World Heritage Fund, as well as Deputy Foreign Minister of Vietnam, First Deputy Minister of Environment of Belarus, Secretary General of the Department of Culture of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Austria, Deputy Minister of Culture of Bahrain, Delegation of Sri Lanka and Spain and other officials, the bilateral relations were discussed.
