Azerbaijani Deputy PM Highlights Strategic Importance of TRIPP at Dubai Forum

Dubai: Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan Samir Sharifov delivered a speech at the 'New Silk Road' Forum organized within the framework of the World Governments Summit held in Dubai, the Cabinet of Ministers' Press Service told APA. In his speech, Samir Sharifov emphasized that Azerbaijan's role at the crossroads of the East-West and North-South transport corridors is of decisive importance for the global supply chain, including the 'Belt and Road' initiative and the Middle Corridor.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the Deputy Prime Minister highlighted the importance of international cooperation in the digitalization of border crossings and the harmonization of customs procedures, particularly coordination among Central Asian and South Caucasus countries, and called on partner states to engage in joint action.
