Azerbaijani Economic Delegation Plans Visit to Jordan

Amman: Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov announced plans for an Azerbaijani economic delegation to visit Jordan in the coming months. During a joint press conference with Ayman Al Safadi, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of Jordan, Bayramov highlighted the discussions held with Jordanian officials, which included exchanges on new projects between the two nations.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the meeting of the intergovernmental commission between Azerbaijan and Jordan took place last year. However, further discussions were held during the recent meeting with the Jordanian President. The upcoming visit will feature a Business Forum, aiming to strengthen economic ties, with a focus on Azerbaijan's expanding logistics and transport capabilities and its increasing role as a conduit between Europe and Asia.
