Kuala lumpur: The Embassy of Azerbaijan in Malaysia, in collaboration with the 'Srikandi Gombak' charity organization, hosted an iftar dinner for single mothers and orphans residing in the Rawang township of Malaysia's Selangor state.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Malaysian officials at the event highlighted the significance of such initiatives, expressing their appreciation to Azerbaijan for organizing the iftar dinner and extending food aid.

Embassy Counselor Sarkhan Ismayilov stated that the holy month of Ramadan encourages compassion and kindness. He discussed the significance of Ramadan in Azerbaijan and spoke about its noble virtues. Ismayilov also mentioned the efforts of President Ilham Aliyev and First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva in promoting the universal values of Islam both nationally and internationally.
