Azerbaijani Embassy in Russia comments on Araik Harutyunyan’s visit to Moscow

The Azerbaijani Embassy in Russia has issued a statement regarding a number of Armenian media reports that Araik Harutyunyan, who introduced himself as the so-called “President of Artsakh”, paid a “working visit” to Moscow and met with Russian officials, APA reports.

“In connection with the spread in some Armenian media of statements about the “working visit” to Russia of Araik Harutyunyan, who positions himself as the “President of Artsakh”, and his meetings with Russian officials here, we report the following. According to the available official information, the mentioned person visited Moscow exclusively on personal matters and met here with his compatriots. During a short visit, he was not received by any of the representatives of the state structures of Russia. The Embassy once again notes that the replication of such messages in the Armenian media is provocative and does not reflect reality,” says the statement of Embassy.
