Baku: The Minister of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Colonel-General Kamaladdin Heydarov, met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Tajikistan to Azerbaijan, Ilkhom Abdurakhmon, the Ministry told APA.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Minister Kamaladdin Heydarov welcomed the ambassador and emphasized the brotherhood and friendship that characterize the relations between Azerbaijan and Tajikistan. The minister expressed confidence that the meeting would be beneficial in expanding cooperation between the relevant agencies of the two countries in combating emergency situations.

Ambassador Ilkhom Abdurakhmon expressed gratitude for the sincere meeting and highlighted that the relations between the two countries are continually expanding. The meeting included a broad exchange of views on issues of mutual interest.
