“Our concern about the entrance of cars from Iran to the Karabakh region of Azerbaijan was conveyed to the Iranian side. Nevertheless, such cases continued,” said Azerbaijani FM Jeyhun Bayramov, APA reports.

The minister noted that later, during the inspection in the territory of Azerbaijan, the facts of illegal entry of two vehicles belonging to Iranian companies into the territory of Azerbaijan were revealed, the drivers were detained and the cars were confiscated: “Negotiations continued in various directions, as well as through diplomatic channels. I think that a normal result has been achieved in this direction. An official statement was issued by the relevant body within the Ministry of Roads & Urban Development Islamic Republic of Iran.”
