Azerbaijani Foreign Minister and EU Official Discuss Peace Process

Baku: Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov met with Magdalena Grono, the European Union's Special Representative for the South Caucasus and the crisis in Georgia. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs informed APA about this meeting, which focused on the Azerbaijan-EU cooperation, the Azerbaijan-Armenia peace process, and other regional and global issues.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the meeting reviewed the cooperation between Azerbaijan and the EU in various sectors such as politics, economy, transport, and energy security. They discussed agreements reached within cooperation platforms and mechanisms, and considered future steps to enhance this partnership. Minister Bayramov provided insights into the advancements and prospects of the Azerbaijan-Armenia peace process. He emphasized Azerbaijan's position on the matter, and the meeting acknowledged the efforts and confidence-building measures within the normalization process. The discussions also covered other bilateral and regional issues of mutual concern.
