A key focus was on enhancing interparliamentary cooperation, with an emphasis on maintaining regular contact between the foreign affairs committees.
The satisfaction with the outcomes of the 10th trilateral meeting of the foreign affairs committees of Azerbaijan, Turkey, and Georgia was expressed, highlighting its role in boosting relations. The officials underscored the importance of trilateral cooperation formats that involve the parliaments as well as foreign and defense ministers in promoting peace, stability, security, and prosperity in the region.
Other major topics of discussion included energy security, transport and communication projects, notably the development of the Middle Corridor, and regional economic integration. Additionally, there was an exchange of views on ensuring sustainable peace and stability in the post-conflict period, the normalization process, and the contribution of parliamentary diplomacy. Minister Bayramov shared detailed insights into the Azerbaijan-Armenia peace and normalization process, explaining Azerbaijan's actions and expectations.
