Baku: Azerbaijani Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeyhun Bayramov held a meeting with Miguel ngel Moratinos, the High Representative for the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations and Special Envoy to Combat Islamophobia, in Baku. Moratinos is visiting Azerbaijan to participate in the Global Baku Forum, as reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to APA.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the discussions focused on the cooperative agenda between Azerbaijan and the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations. The parties explored the continuation of joint projects that have been previously implemented and discussed prospects for future collaborations.

Additionally, the meeting facilitated an exchange of views on bilateral and multilateral issues of mutual interest. Topics included promoting intercultural solidarity amidst global challenges and exploring opportunities for joint activities in combating Islamophobia.
