Baku: Bilateral negotiations between Azerbaijan and Armenia are producing significant results in the peace process, Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov said at a joint press conference in Baku with Swiss Federal Councillor, Head of the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs, and OSCE Chairperson-in-Office Ignazio Cassis, APA reports. The minister noted that a de facto state of peace has now emerged between the two countries and that steps are being taken to strengthen confidence.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the minister emphasized the effectiveness of the bilateral format in advancing the peace agenda. "Today, we can confidently say that the bilateral format has proven its effectiveness in advancing the peace agenda. The results achieved once again confirm this," Jeyhun Bayramov said. The minister highlighted the importance of continuing to advance the peace agenda through direct dialogue.
