Baku: Azerbaijani Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeyhun Bayramov recently met with Seyf bin Rashid Al-Jahwari, the newly appointed non-resident Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to Azerbaijan. The meeting focused on evaluating the current state of Azerbaijan-Omani relations and exploring future cooperation opportunities.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the discussions highlighted the importance of enhancing political dialogue and boosting economic and trade relations between the two countries. The officials also emphasized the need for strengthened cooperation in cultural and humanitarian areas.
The meeting included an exchange of views on regional and international issues, particularly concerning the increased tension and military escalation in the Middle East. Both sides expressed mutual support regarding the arrangements for the evacuation of citizens through each other's territories.
The dialogue underscored the importance of further expanding collaboration to advance bilateral relations and bolster regional security. Additionally, the significance of high- and top-level visits was acknowledged as vital for continued development.
