Baku: Azerbaijani Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeyhun Bayramov recently held a meeting with Magdalena Grono, the European Union's Special Representative for the South Caucasus and the crisis in Georgia. The meeting was centered around discussions on the Azerbaijan-EU cooperation and the ongoing peace process between Azerbaijan and Armenia, as well as various regional and global developments.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the meeting involved a comprehensive review of the cooperation between Azerbaijan and the EU in areas such as politics, economy, transport, and energy security. The discussions also included the agreements reached within the cooperation platforms and mechanisms, along with future steps to enhance this partnership.

Minister Bayramov provided an update on the advancements and future prospects of the Azerbaijan-Armenia peace process, emphasizing Azerbaijan's position regarding this initiative. The efforts and confidence-building measures that have been undertaken within the Azerbaijan-Armenia normalization process were acknowledged during the meeting.

Additionally, the meeting addressed other bilateral and regional issues that are of mutual concern, further strengthening the dialogue between Azerbaijan and the European Union.
