Baku: Azerbaijani journalists recently visited the Ala-Archa Nature Park in Kyrgyzstan as part of a press tour aimed at showcasing the country’s attractions and its cultural, media, and tourism potential. The visit highlighted the park’s significance as a major natural attraction in Kyrgyzstan, known for its impressive mountain landscapes and outdoor activities.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the route to Ala-Archa Nature Park evoked memories of the scenic road leading to Khinalig village in Azerbaijan’s Guba district. Established in 1976, the park spans approximately 20,000 hectares and attracts thousands of tourists each year with its gorges and opportunities for outdoor recreation.
During the visit, the Azerbaijani journalists received a briefing on the park’s history and enjoyed a ride on the cable car. The ride provided panoramic views of the Ala-Archa and the surrounding mountain peaks from the cable car’s upper station.
