Azerbaijani Journalists Explore Tashkent’s TEXNOPARK Operations

Tashkent: Azerbaijani journalists have familiarized themselves with the production facilities of TEXNOPARK LLC, operating in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, APA's correspondent dispatched to Uzbekistan reports.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Azerbaijani media representatives were informed about the enterprise's activities, production capabilities, product range, and export destinations. Botir Babatulayev, Deputy General Director of TEXNOPARK, highlighted the diverse products manufactured by the enterprise, including electronic gas meters, household refrigerators, industrial air conditioners and cooling systems, elevators and escalators, water pumps, panel radiators, metal structures, washing machines, industrial refrigerators, construction materials, and other products.

TEXNOPARK began its operations in 2019 with a focus on establishing import-substituting, high-tech, and export-oriented production facilities. It has since developed into a major industrial complex comprising 17 high-tech production facilities. As of 2026, nearly 5,000 employees are reported to work there.

Participants of the press tour learned about the expanding export geography and range of TEXNOPARK's products. Currently, the enterprise exports to markets including Azerbaijan, Russia, Romania, Kazakhstan, Georgia, Tajikistan, Mongolia, Trkiye, Kyrgyzstan, and Afghanistan. The Deputy General Director noted the growing exports to Azerbaijan, particularly of refrigerators, radiators, elevators, and escalators.

Modern technologies are applied within the enterprise through collaborations with various foreign companies. TEXNOPARK's partners include Italy's Pietro Fiorentini and Ferroli, as well as South Korea's Samsung Electronics. During the press tour, Azerbaijani journalists observed the production process of elevators and escalators, panel radiators, industrial air conditioners and cooling systems, household appliances, and other products at the enterprise.
