PARIS: Azerbaijani judoka Yashar Najafov has ended his Olympic run in Paris, Trend reports.

Competing in the 66 kg weight category, Najafov faced Serbia’s Strahinja Buncic in the 1/16 finals. Despite a valiant effort, Najafov was defeated by Buncic, concluding his participation in the tournament.

The Summer Olympic Games will continue until August 11.
