Sofia: The Azerbaijani judokas are preparing to compete at the Sofia World Championships Cadets 2025 Individuals, scheduled to be held in Bulgaria from August 27 to 31. Azerbaijan will be represented by 15 athletes, comprising eight males and seven females, competing in ten different weight categories.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the national team will also participate in the mixed team event, which is set to take place on the final day of the tournament. The championship is expected to feature approximately 593 athletes from 75 countries, making it a significant event on the international judo calendar.
