Baku:President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva, and their daughters Leyla Aliyeva and Arzu Aliyeva visited the retrospective exhibition 'My Absheron Plus,' dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Farhad Khalilov, a prominent artist and Chairman of the Union of Artists of Azerbaijan. The event took place at the Azerbaijan National Museum of Art.

According to Azeri-Press news agency, the exhibition was organized by the Ministry of Culture, the Azerbaijan National Museum of Art, and the Union of Artists of Azerbaijan. It showcases more than 90 works from Khalilov's personal collection, spanning from the 1960s to the present day. The collection includes a variety of pieces, from monumental paintings to small-format graphic works.

Farhad Khalilov is recognized for his rich body of work and distinctive artistic style, which includes a mix of realism, avant-garde, and abstract art. His creations are known for their diverse artistic expressions, color schemes, and the emotional impact of their depicted spaces. The Absheron theme is central to Khalilov's work, reflecting his personal observations and impressions of the region's natural environment and its unique atmosphere.
