“Claims that the action protests allegedly resulted in the closure of the Lachin road and created a humanitarian crisis are equally baseless,” reflected on the comment of Press Service Department of Azerbaijani MFA regarding the statement of Armenian MFA dated January 3, 2023, APA reports.

As for allegations of the violation of the trilateral declaration, the Azerbaijani MFA reminded that it is well known to Armenian side that according to the trilateral declaration also signed by Armenian leader, the Lachin road is not intended for the illegal transportation of natural resources to Armenia, the continuation of the military supply of the Armenian armed forces, which have not yet been fully withdrawn from Azerbaijan, increasing mine threat by transferring and placing mines to the territory of Azerbaijan, illegal crossing of citizens of third countries, etc. and such illegal activities and all these acts are gross violation of Trilateral Declaration.
