Azerbaijani Military Prosecutor Khanlar Valiyev’s Term Ends with Formal Ceremony


Baku: A ceremony was held on April 8 to mark the conclusion of the term of office for Khanlar Valiyev, the Deputy Prosecutor General of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Military Prosecutor. The event was chaired by Prosecutor General Kamran Aliyev, as reported by APA, citing the Prosecutor General’s Office.



According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Khanlar Valiyev received the 1st degree “For Service to the Homeland” order from the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan on March 17, 2025. This award was conferred upon him by the Prosecutor General.



During his speech at the ceremony, Khanlar Valiyev expressed his gratitude to the President for the award. He thanked the authorities for the attention and recognition of his efforts within the prosecution bodies.



Valiyev has received numerous honors through presidential decrees, including the “For Military Services” medal, “Azerbaijan Flag” order, “For Service to the Homeland” 2nd and 1st degree orders, the “Heydar Aliyev 100th Anniversary (1923-2023)” jubilee medal, and the honorary title of “Honored Lawyer.”
