Dubai: A delegation from Azerbaijan, led by Science and Education Minister Emin Amrullayev, participated in the 2026 World Governments Summit in Dubai. The visit came at the invitation of Abdulrahman Abdulmannan Al Awar, UAE Minister of Human Resources and Emiratisation, who is also the Acting Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the Summit, themed 'Shaping Future Governments', brought together over 6000 officials from around the world, more than 400 speakers, and over 80 international organizations. Minister Amrullayev attended the Future of Work session, which was part of the event's agenda. This session examined the transformation of the labor market, the influence of science and technology on workplaces, and shared innovative approaches and expertise.
