Sarajevo: The whereabouts of an Azerbaijani citizen wanted on an international search have been identified in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Nijat Namiq oglu Rahimov, who was sought by the Binagadi District Police Department in connection with a criminal case launched on fraud charges, has been detained through Interpol channels.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Azerbaijan's Ministry of Internal Affairs stated that its National Central Bureau of Interpol is collaborating with relevant authorities to facilitate the extradition of the accused back to Azerbaijan. The press service of the Interior Ministry has confirmed this information.
