Azerbaijani Parliament commemorated memories of Iranian President and others who died in helicopter crash with a minute’s silence

“As you know, the President of Iran and other officials died in a helicopter crash. We offer our condolences to the people of Iran and their families. I suggest that we commemorate their memories with a minute of silence,” said the Speaker of Milli Majlis (Azerbaijani Parliament) Sahiba Gafarove during today’s session of Parliament, APA reports.

The suggestion was accepted.

Azerbaijan’s Milli Majlis commemorated memories of Iranian President and other individuals who died in helicopter crash with a minute’s silence.

Note that on May 19, as a result of the helicopter crash, the President of Iran Ebrahim Raisi, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran Hossein Amir-Abdollahian and a number of state officials died.

The causes of the crash are being investigated.
