Islamabad: Azerbaijani Parliament Speaker Sahiba Gafarova, during her working visit to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, held a meeting with the Chairman of the Senate, Syed Yousuf Raza Gillani, as confirmed by the Press and Public Relations Department of the Milli Majlis (Azerbaijani Parliament) to APA.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the meeting highlighted the growing relations between Azerbaijan and Pakistan, rooted in friendship and brotherhood. Both leaders expressed satisfaction with the progress achieved through mutual visits by the countries’ leaders, which have significantly enhanced bilateral relations. They underscored the important role of parliamentary cooperation on both bilateral and multilateral platforms.

The discussion also acknowledged the importance of the Third Trilateral Meeting of the Speakers of the Parliaments of Azerbaijan, Pakistan, and Trkiye, viewing it as a step towards further strengthening ties. The two officials exchanged views on various issues of mutual interest, reflecting the commitment to enhance collaboration between their nations.
