Baku: Speaker of the Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova has signed an order on convening an extraordinary session of parliament, the Press and Public Relations Department of the Milli Majlis told APA.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the decision to hold the extraordinary session was made following a request by 82 members of parliament. This move is in line with Part II of Article 88 of the Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The session is set to commence on June 1, 2026, under the direction of Speaker Sahiba Gafarova.
