Baku: Azerbaijan’s Prime Minister Ali Asadov has sent a congratulatory letter to the Vice President of Trkiye, Cevdet Yilmaz, on the occasion of Trkiye’s national holiday, Republic Day. According to Trend News Agency, the Azerbaijani Cabinet of Ministers reported that the letter highlighted Trkiye’s emergence as one of the strongest and most rapidly developing countries in the world. Azerbaijan, described as a brotherly nation, takes pride in Trkiye’s achievements and its growing international authority.

The letter also referenced the declaration by the National Leader of the Azerbaijani people, Heydar Aliyev, “One nation-two states,” which symbolizes the brotherhood, unity, and solidarity between the two countries. This phrase is considered to reflect the fundamental nature of the bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Trkiye.

Furthermore, the letter credited the joint efforts of the heads of state, Ilham Aliyev and Recep Tayyip Erdogan, for making Azerbaijan and Trkiye the closest countries to each ot
her globally. It expressed confidence that the relations between the two nations, which have peaked in partnership following the Shusha Declaration, will continue to develop successfully.
