Azerbaijani President Announces Strengthening Trade Relations with Armenia

Baku: Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has announced significant strides in strengthening trade relations with Armenia, marking a new chapter in bilateral cooperation. Speaking at the award ceremony of the Zayed Award for Human Fraternity, Aliyev highlighted the progress made since the Washington Summit.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, President Aliyev elaborated on the developments over the past months, stating that Azerbaijan has lifted restrictions related to transportation and cargo shipments to Armenia. This move has paved the way for expanded cooperation in various sectors, underscoring a commitment to enhance bilateral ties.

During the six-month period following the summit, the two nations have embarked on a path of cooperation. President Aliyev emphasized ongoing efforts to increase trade relations, revealing that discussions with his Armenian counterpart have been focused on charting a strategic path forward.
