Baku: A group of servicemen from the State Border Service of the Republic of Azerbaijan have been awarded higher military ranks. President Ilham Aliyev issued an Order to confer these promotions.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the Order by President Aliyev elevated several servicemen to higher military ranks. Major General Babek Mursal oghlu Alakbarov, Major General Agshin Ramiz oghlu Maharramov, and Major General Faig Hamzaagha oghlu Mammadov have been promoted to the rank of 'Lieutenant General.' Additionally, Colonel Elfan Shakir oghlu Guliyev has been promoted to the rank of 'Major General.'

The conferring of these ranks highlights the recognition and trust placed in these servicemen by the leadership of Azerbaijan.
