Azerbaijani President Expresses Disillusionment with International Mediation

Davos: Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev expressed his disillusionment with international mediation efforts during the panel session "Defining Eurasia's Economic Identity" in Davos. He stated that all hopes for international mediation had completely collapsed, citing the failure of the United Nations Security Council's resolutions, which demanded the unconditional withdrawal of Armenian forces from Azerbaijani territories but were never implemented.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, President Aliyev highlighted that despite numerous resolutions and decisions by the OSCE and other international institutions, none materialized until Azerbaijan took matters into its own hands. He emphasized that Azerbaijan restored justice, international law, territorial integrity, and sovereignty, subsequently achieving peace.
