According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the leaders reflected positively on past meetings, particularly the Iranian President's visits to Azerbaijan, which have fostered bilateral relations. They noted the progress of the Aghband-Kelaleh highway bridge over the Araz River, which is proceeding as planned. President Aliyev expressed Azerbaijan's readiness to help de-escalate regional tensions, advocating for resolutions through dialogue and mutual understanding. President Pezeshkian conveyed gratitude for these efforts. The conversation included an exchange of views on the friendly and brotherly ties between the two nations, as well as future collaborative init iatives. Both leaders agreed to maintain further contacts.
