Baku: Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has extended his congratulations to Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan Abdelrahman Al-Burhan, the Chairman of the Sovereign Transitional Council of Sudan, in a letter marking Sudan’s national holiday, Independence Day. According to Azeri-Press News Agency, President Aliyev’s letter conveyed his personal and Azerbaijan’s collective congratulations to Al-Burhan and the people of Sudan. Aliyev highlighted the significance of Al-Burhan’s previous visit to Baku for the COP29 conference, reflecting on it with satisfaction.
